香港证实东亚首“猪流感”病例 Hong Kong Confirms East Asia's First 'Swine Flu' Case

香港说,已经证实东亚第一例猪流感新菌株H1N1病毒的病例。香港特首曾荫权星期五宣布,一位墨西哥旅客感染了H1N1病毒。他说,这名男子星期五乘飞机从墨西哥经上海抵达香港。

日本星期四报告了第一个疑似病例,但官员们星期五宣布,这名17岁的学生H1N1型病毒检测结果呈阴性。

韩国星期五说,又发现两个可能是猪流感的病例,将总数提高到3例。

在大洋洲,新西兰星期五把已经证实的病例增加到4例,还有12例可能病例和116个疑似病例。

Hong Kong says it has confirmed East Asia's first case of the new strain of the swine flu H1N1 virus. Hong Kong's Chief Executive Donald Tsang announced Friday that a Mexican traveler is infected with the virus. Tsang said the man arrived in the territory on Thursday on a flight from Mexico with a stopover in Shanghai.

Japan reported its first suspected case Thursday, but officials announced Friday that the 17-year-old student has tested negative for H1N1.

South Korea on Friday said it has two more probable cases of swine flu, raising its total to three.

In Oceania, New Zealand on Friday raised its number of confirmed cases to four with 12 more probable infections and 116 suspected.
