The death toll from the H1N1 swine flu virus is edging higher in India even as officials race to prevent more infections.Officials said Thursday 20 people have now died from the virus, the most recent victim a 26-year-old mother of two from Bangalore who worked as a private school teacher.

Indian Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad is urging anyone who thinks they may have symptoms to stay home.More than 1,200 people in India have tested positive for the virus but thousands more have been rushing to hospitals for tests.
