Two US airlines, United and Continental, have announced their merger in a deal that will create the world's largest airline.
The boards of both companies approved the merger, worth an estimated $3 billion, on Sunday.
The company, which will operate under the name United Airlines, will replace Delta Air Lines as the world's the top carrier.
The new company will service 370 destinations in 59 countries.
The deal must still be approved by shareholders and antitrust regulators.
