美国务卿:美俄希望发展持久双边关系 Clinton: US, Russia Want to Develop Lasting Relationship

美国国务卿希拉里.克林顿说,美国和俄罗斯决心建立一种“非常深厚、不断发展的关系”。希拉里.克林顿在接受俄罗斯伊塔尔塔斯社采访时说,美俄两国在一个非常复杂的世界中有机会通过前人所不能想象的方式发挥领导作用。
  
她说,美国和俄罗斯的下一步是继续在各层次建立信任、理解和信心。她还说,美国总统奥巴马和俄罗斯总统梅德韦杰夫一直强调双边关系以及两国企业界关系的重要性。她说,美俄两国已经找到在新战略武器削减条约、伊朗核争执、阿富汗以及反毒品和反恐等领域的合作方式。

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says the United States and Russia are determined to move into a "very deep, growing relationship."In an interview with the Russian news agency Itar-Tass, Clinton said the two countries have an opportunity in a "very complex world" to provide leadership in ways that prior generations could not imagine. 
  
She said the next step for the U.S. and Russia is to keep building trust, understanding and confidence at all levels. Secretary Clinton also said U.S. President Barack Obama and his Russian counterpart, Dmitry Medvedev, have been emphasizing the importance of bilateral and business-to-business relations. She said the two countries have found ways to cooperate on a new Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty ( START ), on the Iranian nuclear controversy, on Afghanistan, and on counter-narcotics and counter-terrorism efforts.
