[00:04.32]A few days ago, we told you about a young giant panda named Bao Bao. [00:12.44]She spent the first three years of her life [00:16.72]at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. [00:21.96]But this week, she left the United States for her new home in China. [00:30.60]Under an agreement between the two countries, [00:34.36]panda cubs must be sent to China before they reach the age of 4. [00:42.00]Now, many people are following another animal in New York State. [00:51.76]A zoo called the Animal Adventure Park [00:56.12]has a pregnant giraffe named April. [01:00.65]The zoo is in Harpursville, a small community [01:06.84]just north of the state's border with Pennsylvania. [01:11.52]Doctors expect April, the giraffe, to give birth to a calf any day now. [01:20.88]This will be her fourth calf. [01:24.40]Workers have set up a camera, called a "giraffe cam," to watch April. [01:31.80]According to the zoo, since the camera has been in place, [01:38.88]millions of people have tuned in to the live video on YouTube. [01:46.44]The Animal Adventure Park shared some interesting facts about giraffes. [01:53.79]The average calf is about 2 meters tall at birth, [02:00.80]and weighs about 70 kilograms. [02:05.52]A giraffe's pregnancy usually lasts about 15 months. [02:12.68]Viewers from around the world are watching the live video feed [02:18.76]to see if April had the baby yet. [02:22.33]One person wrote on Twitter: [02:25.80]"all I want is for this giraffe to give birth already." [02:30.72]Another wrote about waking up early on Thursday [02:35.12]to see if she missed the birth or not. [02:39.09]But some people were worried when they looked at the park's YouTube channel [02:45.32]and saw a message that it had been taken down because of a violation. [02:51.84]Park officials said YouTube was hearing from people [02:55.87]who do not like seeing animals in captivity. [03:00.28]They said the video showed "nudity or sexual content." [03:06.44]But after a short delay, the live video was operating normally. [03:12.93]Jordan Patch is the zoo's owner. [03:17.28]He went on Facebook Live to explain what happened. [03:22.28]Patch said the protests "pulled an educational tool [03:27.99]away from tens of millions of viewers." [03:31.84]He added that people should work to protect the natural habitat for animals [03:39.68]instead of criticizing his zoo for its camera. [03:44.61]And that's What's Trending Today.
