[00:16.68]Wash your hands frequently [00:19.48]Clean your hands often and carefully with an alcohol-based hand cleaner or wash them with soap and water. [00:30.72]Washing your hands kills viruses that may be on your hands. [00:36.08]Maintain social distancing [00:39.48]Stay at least one meter away from anyone who is coughing or sneezing. [00:46.08]When someone coughs or sneezes, they release small drops of liquid from their nose or mouth which may contain the virus. [00:56.56]If you are too close, you can breathe in the liquid, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease. [01:08.52]Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth [01:12.88]Your hands touch many surfaces where viruses can survive up to nine days. [01:20.20]Once contaminated, hands can carry the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. [01:27.84]From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick. [01:34.32]Practice respiratory hygiene [01:37.48]Make sure that you, and the people around you, cover your mouth and nose with your elbow or facial tissue when you cough or sneeze. [01:49.96]Then throw away the used tissue immediately. [01:54.96]If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early [02:02.16]Stay home if you feel unwell, even with mild signs of infection such as headache and slight runny nose, until you recover. [02:13.76]If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention, and follow the directions of your local health official. [02:26.76]Calling ahead will permit the health official to quickly direct you to the right health facility. [02:35.00]This will also help to prevent possible spread of the new coronavirus and other viruses. [02:43.48]I'm Jill Robbins. 更多听力请访问51VOA.COM
