[ti:Weather Postpones Historic SpaceX Launch] [by:www.51voa.com] [00:00.00]更多听力请访问51VOA.COM [00:00.04]A historic launch to return American astronauts to space [00:05.68]on a private spacecraft has been postponed because of weather. [00:12.68]The launch of SpaceX's Crew Dragon was called off Wednesday [00:18.32]about 16 minutes before liftoff at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. [00:27.44]Flight controllers had reported that all equipment [00:31.88]and technical requirements had been met to go forward with the launch. [00:38.28]But several weather-related requirements affecting the flight path could not be met. [00:47.28]One concern was the possibility of lightning. [00:52.56]NASA has set the next launch attempt for Saturday afternoon. [00:59.72]U.S. astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley [01:04.64]are aiming to become the first astronauts to launch from American soil [01:10.56]since the last space shuttle flight in 2011. [01:16.44]A successful SpaceX launch will make history [01:20.52]as the first time a private company has launched astronauts into orbit. [01:28.28]A Falcon 9 rocket is to carry Crew Dragon. [01:33.48]Space X designed and built both spacecraft. [01:38.68]The mission will take Behnken and Hurley to the International Space Station, [01:44.60]where they are expected to stay at least a month. [01:50.04]I'm Bryan Lynn. 更多听力请访问51VOA.COM
