[ti:Free Google AI Tool Aims to Improve Job Interview Skills] [by:www.51voa.com] [00:00.00]更多听力请访问51VOA.COM [00:00.04]Google has launched a new tool designed [00:04.36]to help people prepare for job interviews. [00:09.04]The system, called Interview Warmup, [00:13.68]is powered by artificial intelligence (AI) methods. [00:18.24]The tool creates interview test questions [00:23.20]related to several major technology fields. [00:27.88]These include information technology (IT) and support, [00:33.68]project management, data analytics [00:37.72]and online sales and marketing. [00:41.56]The tool was created as part of Google's efforts [00:46.20]to develop "conversational AI" systems. [00:50.56]These systems use messaging technologies [00:55.24]and voice recognition to permit users to interact [01:00.44]with computers and devices in more natural ways. [01:05.32]Google recently launched Interview Warmup [01:09.64]to the public for free. [01:12.08]Users first choose the field they are interested in [01:17.20]for a practice interview. [01:19.60]The process involves users typing [01:23.92]or speaking their answers into the system [01:27.60]after each question is presented. [01:30.40]Video is currently not part of the tool. [01:35.04]The system centers on three main kinds of questions [01:39.88]– background, situational and technical, Google explains. [01:46.84]Background questions cover a user's past training and job history. [01:54.44]Situational questions seek information on how a job seeker [02:00.84]has dealt with different career situations in the past. [02:05.96]And technical questions [02:08.76]cover the specific knowledge and skills a person has. [02:15.08]If the user speaks using a microphone, [02:18.60]the tool puts the user's answers into written form. [02:24.12]The Interview Warmup system then uses AI [02:28.76]and machine learning methods to analyze the answers [02:33.20]and provide suggestions for improvements. [02:37.48]For example, the system can let a user know [02:42.80]when he or she is using important terms [02:46.52]related to specific jobs of interest. [02:50.40]It also identifies the words used most by the interviewee. [02:56.92]Google says this information can help job seekers recognize [03:03.28]whether using such repeated words [03:06.36]can help or hurt them during an interview. [03:11.20]The tool can also point out any "talking points" [03:15.84]that were used or suggest new ones [03:19.96]that could be effective when interviewing [03:22.80]for different kinds of jobs. [03:25.16]For people with privacy concerns, Google says [03:30.76]none of the information entered or spoken into the tool [03:35.28]is stored or shared. [03:37.84]Since the system does not store information, [03:42.00]users are asked to copy any answers they want to keep [03:47.24]in a separate document. [03:49.36]While creating the system, developers spoke [03:54.08]with individuals who had completed job training classes [03:59.04]offered by Google and were actively looking for work. [04:04.00]The classes are part of the company's Career Certificate Program. [04:10.52]Jasmin Rubinovitz is a software engineer [04:15.08]and researcher with Google Creative Lab. [04:19.04]She helped develop the Interview Warmup tool. [04:23.52]Rubinovitz explains in a video [04:27.44]that there are currently more than 1.3 million job openings [04:32.80]in the United States for high-paying technology jobs [04:37.68]across different fields. [04:40.20]She notes, however, that the company's career training programs [04:45.80]can only go so far in helping prepare job seekers [04:50.84]to get one of those available positions. [04:54.76]"We found that the one thing (job seekers) [04:58.60]had a hard time with was interviewing," Rubinovitz said. [05:04.28]"So we tried to think, could we use machine learning [05:09.32]and large language models to build a tool [05:12.96]to help you practice for a job interview," she added. [05:17.88]Rubinovitz says the tool is designed [05:22.04]to permit job seekers to practice their interview skills [05:26.72]in a "safe space" as many times as they desire. [05:31.60]Interview Warmup can be used with most internet browsers, [05:37.04]as well as the Android and iOS mobile operating systems. [05:43.44]I'm Bryan Lynn. 更多听力请访问51VOA.COM
